Phlox subulata 'White'

Description

Common Name:

Creeping Phlox, Moss Phlox, Mountain Phlox

Description:

A spreading plant with a tight, mossy like foliage.

Flower:

Small five petaled flowers come in shades of white, blue and pink. They flower during spring.

Size:

10cm x 50cm

Growing Conditions:

Phlox grows best in full sun but can handle part shade especially if under-planting large trees or shrubs.

Care:

An occasional trim around the edges for size and appearance will keep it nice and tidy.

Uses:

·         A great groundcover. Works well spilling over banks and retaining walls.

·         A neat container plant.

·         Combine with other colourful perennials for a stunning display.

Comment:

A colourful groundcover that forms a tight mat which is helpful for suppressing weeds.
